I have always realised that Tay is a bit behind other kids when it comes to talking, but never quite realised how much.
I asked some friends on the forum yest what the average amount of words their kids said at Tay's age and then posted a question to their paed and even did some research on the subject.
Apparently a child of Tayden's age should have a vocab of 200 words! My word, I nearly died of shock when I saw thaApart from the usual "ot" (hot), "Os" for Heidi's dog Oscar who he still remembers, car, moo, duck and maybe 3 or 4 others, he is actually speaking less and less. He used to be on the increase with his vocab but now it is basically not growing and actually gettting worse. This is worrying for me and as my mom told me this morning, we will definitely have to take him for speech lessons when we get back from Graz.
For me, it was quite upsetting. I didnt realise that he is falling so way behind with the talking, and this is due to the not eating as his muscles arent strong enough. Shu!
He needs to eat, it is just not an option anymore!
