They say in this life that you should count your blessings. Personally, I think that is a great thing to do. If everyone just had to sit back and look at the good in the world instead of trying to think of everything that is wrong, I am sure the world would be a better place.
I can use this blog to tell you about the major infection Tayden has once AGAIN in his stoma, that he has developed side effects to the antibiotics, that his bum is totally raw from the diarrhea but I won't.
Instead I will tell you about the good things that are happening at the moment. Our funds are up to just over R107 000, wow! So that leaves us with about R73 000 to fundraise in just over 9 weeks. It CAN be done!
We have been very blessed in that KICK have come onboard and will be running Project 720 this weekend at the PE beachfront for us and a creche in Walmer that they are supporting. Another fund raiser is in its planning stages and will be confirmed later this week. How great is that to have so many people willing to assist us!
Plus, we will get the word out about Tayden through the Algoa Sun which will be publishing an article on Tayden and his journey soon.
It is only 64 days until we depart for Graz and the world is good. Tayden is smiling, people are assisting us and we are out of hospital - what more could we ask for?
