Even though Tayden's website has been up for almost a month now, I just haven't had time to sit down and right a blog. As I write this, Tayden is at home sleeping with Rob, he is not well at all. We had him admitted to St Georges yest with a "fever of unknown cause". Personally I could deal with the 39'C + fever, it was the crying and screaming and pulling on the peg which had me racing to St Georges. It was all red and oozy around the peg area it was standing out like it was going to pop, and the fact that he would stop what he was doing and start crying and pulling on it really upset me. It seems to have settled with the meds Dr Gerbers gave and I was happy to take him home with a temp but today he is vomiting up his milk (I am guessing now the antireflux op is totally undone as he is vomiting with ease!), coughing, phlegm on the chest etc. I cannot even get his liquid down, he is vomiting it up and only managed just over 100ml for the day so far. Let's hope it improves or I can see him being admitted again.
On the bright side, I have had so many supportive emails and sms'es from people wanting to help us raise the funds for Tayden - how blessed are we! We need to continue to trust that all will work out, that everythign will be fine and our boy will eat again!
